Global concept design for VIP lounges
Aviapartner placed its trust in us to realize the global concept design for its VIP lounges. This work is being implemented little by little in different European airports. “Le Anfore” was the second VIP lounge from Aviapartner. It is located in the international zone of Fiumicino airport, Rome.
The airport, whose official name is Leonardo da Vinci, is the largest in Italy and one of the most frequented in the European country. Terminal 3 of the airport is designated for international flights and this is where the VIP lounge was remodeled to adapt it to the new image.
AP Passenger Lounge “Le Anfore” (FCO) Airport
The priority in the design of the concept was to reorder the space and achieve the maximum possible capacity. The challenge with these types of lounges is that they receive a large number of passengers, and because of sheer volume, these spaces tend to get congested. In order to make traffic as smooth as possible, the entryway steps had to be addressed.
This VIP lounge succeeded in many respects with its renewed aesthetic and like the “AVIA” ounge, this area is more attractive and ready to measure with the competition.
The design and materials of the lounge maintain the guidelines of the global concept design with touches of industrial aesthetics. The main objective of this design was that it was to be used as a model for future lounges so the style can be replicated in other airports where the brand has a presence. With this aspect, guests will be able to have the same experience in all of the lounges carrying the same brand name.
Up To You Studio, designed two global concepts focused on VIP lounges, the first one was implemented in 3 lounges and the last one was presented publicly in June 2019, which can be seen here: ——————– Prima Vista.
