General Aviation Lounge: Global concept design

Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA) also operates general aviation traffic: private airline planes that provide passenger transport services on request or for people using their own aircraft. For this, it has a terminal located just 15 km from the center of Rome, with 1,800 square meters fully dedicated to private and business aviation. This, and for its wide range of services, makes it one of the main general aviation terminals in Europe.

The global concept design is one of our strengths; We start from the client’s briefing to study their needs and start working on their future brand. Working from brand identity to interior design, our combination of experience and sensitivity helps us create spaces that transmit, live and feel.

Aviapartner Lounge CIA Airport

Aviapartner Lounge CIA Airport was inaugurated together with the 2 VIP lounges of the Rome Fiumicino airport which Up To You Studio also designed. In this case, the room was intended for general aviation, where the operation is different from what we usually find in commercial aviation. These types of spaces are typically used more by the crews of private flights than by the passengers themselves. In this case we are not talking about long waits, but rather they are transit spaces of rather reduced times in which comfort and other complementary VIP services are also achieved.

This VIP lounge is a program of basic spaces with an elegant and comfortable design, and although it is smaller, it still has the most essential services for a VIP lounge such as:a buffet, an internet area and a rest area with TV.

The global concept design planned for general aviation salons follows the same principles as that of the brand: modernity, lightness and a sense of comfort.
