Firmenich’s motto and main ambition is to inspire consumers around the world every day. To make your vision a reality. Firmenich annually orders Up To You Studio to create a global concept design for Sensorium.
What is Sensorium?
A Sensorium is a sensory artistic installation where creativity has absolute freedom and must be applied to stimulate the 5 senses.
Firmenich proposes a concept to work for and we take care of developing it globally and applying it through set design, lighting, graphic design or music.
During this, Firmenich brings their creativity through the fragrances and flavors. Firmenich creates anexperience. Their goal is to impress and inspire their clients and expose them to different formats and applications, thus stimulating smell and taste.

The selection of creative olfactory recommendations of Firmenich, follow the most relevant sociocultural trends that will be trending for the next three to five years.
These innovative concepts were designed in the “wONEderful” Sensorium of 2018, to inspire Firmenich customers and to help internal creative teams at a visual, conceptual and semantic level.

For this Sensorium, Firmenich decided to move its philosophy to an unconventional scenario that refers to a masterpiece of literature of the last century.
We were inspired by the novel “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carrol: A story full of magical resources that gave us the possibility of letting our imagination fly, creating a scenery of dreamlike spaces that allowed us to play with the stimulation of all the senses.
Our vision: Sensorium for Firmenich
Our vision of “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll referred to five basic global trends observed by the team:
– Change of identity codes and role models.
– New vision of time and space.
– Navigating the multi-universe.
– The search of hyperreality.
– Living in symbiosis.
We recreate allegories to these tendencies through the language of perfume and expressions of flavors. We carry literature and trends at your fingertips so that visitors can enjoy them on a full space and sensory journey through this global concept design project.
